A few weeks ago, our church brought in a guest pastor to speak on the topic of adoption - both wordly and spiritually. We were in Raleigh at the time (for my sister's wedding) but a sweet friend forwarded the message to me in my absence. I listened to it this morning and was on the verge of tears during the entire message. He so clearly speaks to the motivation behind our adoption and why we feel we are so blessed to have been called to this ministry. Please take the time to educate yourself on this amazing opportunity . . . perhaps your heart will be pierced as well and you'll be inspired to follow the biblical command of taking care of the orphans in this way just as we were.

- 8/25/11 - Phase 1 payment submitted/received
- 8/23/11 - Mel shared the news with her boss!
- 8/23/11 - Submitted the last of our loan documentation to ANLC and ACCU
- 8/11/11 - Received NC Background Checks - we pass!
- 8/6/11 - Mailed off State and Federal background check applications
- 8/5/11 - Obtained Fingerprint Cards
- 7/22/11 - Approved for $35k Financing
- 7/19/11 - Submitted ANLC Applications
